ART
A Little about Little Emperor
Art and design is now a passion for me rather
than a career path, I studied three dimensional
design, spatial design and furniture design at
Wolverhampton and Middlesex Universities
and I also spent many years in the design and
fabrication industry .
Now due to injury I create work for my own
enjoyment and hopefully the enjoyment of those
around me.
I find using my talents creating costumes for
young people taking part in the growing carnival
community of the UK and I am also involved with
‘Brewing Up’. An Olympic Inspire mark awarded
project celebrating the Great British obsession
with tea drinking and the social links created
between communities in the simple enjoyment
of tea. A giant musical kettle has been created
as a centre piece for a troop of tea cup carnival
street dancers, that dance to the sound of
‘The Kettle Band’.
The band features dhol, samba, brass and pan
players, in fact anyone that can carry an
instrument.
The work I am showing I hope reflects the
diversity of my interests and my curiosity for
experimentation. Mainly it is the work that I like
to surround myself within my home.
All the artwork and paintings exhibited here are produced by Little Emperor and many of them are available to buy.
Or perhaps if you would like something more bespoke, commissions are always welcome.
Paintings are individually price marked and commissions are variable dependant on the work ordered.
Please be aware that framing, delivery and installation are extra.
If you have any questions or if you would like to purchase or commission any work please email me at
